As many of you know, Gwinnett Place Mall (Simon Properties) forced us to cancel the Atlanta Independence Day Tea Party, based on "reciprocal property easement agreements" - even thought it was held on private property NOT owned by the Mall/Simon. We have since found out the covenants and restrictions expired in 2004, and there were no current restrictions that would have allowed them to make us cancel. We were bluffed and bullied.
Regardless of this temporary set-back, we are already planning a bigger, even better event than April 15th, so please stay tuned for more information.
In the mean time, we encourage everyone to attend a Tea Party near you and show we will not be silenced.
The Cobb County Tea Party is more of an educational event, not a protest. They will not allow protest signs at the event. If you live in the metro area and want to attend a protest, please attend one of the ones listed below.
Many in the North Metro Atlanta area will be attending the one at the Georgia Capitol. I have also listed a link to find Tea Parties throughout Georgia in case you don't live in the Metro area.

Thanks for organizing these rallies. I'm glad to see the momentum is building.
Can I make a small suggestion? Please don't take this the wrong way.
I've noticed a number of grammatical errors on the postings here. It may seem nit-picky, but please re-read before you post. We all tend to be in a hurry or be overly excited posting information, but writing correctly will dispel the liberals' notion that we're a bunch of hayseed, uneducated dolts.
That said:
There is a difference between its (belongs to) and it's (it is)
Using I or me (John and me, John and I) - when unsure, break it out; for example:
"He spoke to John. He spoke to me. He spoke to John and me."
"John went to the party. I went to the party. John and I went to the party."
