What Can I Do to Help the Atlanta Tea Party?

1. Invite family, friends, and neighbors. Offer them a ride so they have no excuse not to attend.
2. Use shoe polish to write atlantateaparty.net on your car window.
3. Make signs. Bring several in case the person you are standing near does not have one.
4. RSVP
5. Bring your camera to take lots of photos. We will post a link to a site to upload photos in the next few days.
6. Become a Citizen Journalist with PJTV. Click here to goto the signup page for PJTV. PJTV is a conservative internet news site with several excellent programs.
7. Have a blog? Write a post or two about why you are attending the Tea Party.
8. Write a letter to the editor to your local paper telling why you are attending the Atlanta Tea Party.
9. Make a donation by clicking here. We need money to have a stage built, audio-visual equipment, supplies and many other items. We plan to have big screen TV's so everyone will have good view of the event no matter where they are standing. Sean Hannity will be broadcasting his show live . America will be watching the Atlanta Tea Party and we want to have a big impact. We have many speakers lined up, including Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, John Rich, of the country act " Big and Rich", and many others. "Joe The Plumber" might even stop by. Our focus is on the grassroots movement so we don't have big name sponsors. We depend on you, the grassroots. Our estimated costs just for the stage and audio-visual equipment is $ 25,000

  1. Let me guess, those who can afford to give more will give more, those who can only give so much will give what they can. But some fat cat will decide where everyone's money goes to once it's all collected....sounds alot like what you are protesting, only, it doesn't look like your building a highway or supplying a homeless shelter.

  2. This is so ignorant. Why would you have a deceitful individual like Sean Hannity who supported Bernie Maddoff?? Ask Sean to host a Bernie Madoff Tea Party; you'll raise plenty of money. Sean and Bernie know how to deceive and steal!! Where was the tea party when Bush was destroying the nation and other countries?

This type of protesting is how it was done in the days when our great country was being established. I only wish I had the day off from my JOB(AND I THANK GOD FOR IT!!!) so that I might attend and protest in a lawful and peaceful way--letting MR. OBAMA know that he cannot ignore the millions of Americans that DO NOT SUPPORT HIS EVERY THOUGHT--ESP> ALL THE OUT OF CONTROL SPENDING AND TAXING!!! I am proud to say that my 22yr. old son and his friend are both attending --protesting the fact that they DO NOT want to inherit a RIDICULOUS DEBT when they are their parents' age!!! May GOD bless the efforts put forth today,AND MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

  4. When you will people wake up and realize if we do not stop this madness NOW we will end up with a Maxist type goverment. This regime in power NOW has already VIOLATED THE US CONSTITUTION AND THE BASIC BILL OF RIGHTS.
Ask your self why has the legal system not taken the necessary actions against this regime? or any other one in the past??
But they are getting by with it because this country is now controlled by a few people and NOT WE THE PEOPLE!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO WE THE PEOPLE??? DON'T YOU THINK ITS TIME TO TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK BEFORE ITS TOO LATE???

This country is no longer a Republic by defination we are now and have been for years an Oligarchy ( if you dont know what it is look it up).
SO PEOPLE I ASK YOU WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET OUR REPUBLIC BACK?????????????

  5. We need to give a voice to those in the majority who are not being heard. This country is taking a major turn away from the core principles that made it great. This isn't partisan, the Republicans were guilty of growing the government too, but the current administration has chosen a path that greatly accelerates our race to doom. There is no example of success of Socialism. Our country stands as an example of what great people can do when given the freedom to pursue their dreams. Stand up for what made this country great.

  6. We had a great time. We decided to go at the last minute when I found I could get the day off. We were amazed at the size of the crowd. I did a PayPal contribution to this site. As I could find no trash cans, I would suggest that attendees be advised to bring trash bags to clean up after wards in order to leave the site as clean or cleaner than we found it. The full trash bags could be stacked in a central location so the trash pickup people could easily collect all the trash at one spot. Thanks Jen and all others for all the work you did, and thanks to the attendees for coming. I would imagine the drive by media was disappointed by the lack of looting, missile throwing, vandalism, graffiti, Molotov cocktails and cars overturned and burnt by the crowed as sometimes seen at "left wing extremist" protests. We did have one car full of people open their car doors and scream "Obama" at us as we were walking to the site -- I'm sure they were also opposed to government spending. I will post as "anonymous" as Obama's newly re-approved warrantless wiretapping will now be OK because it is directed at the right wing extremists, rather than Bush's warrantless wiretapping targeting terrorist communications.

  7. We are protesting the out of control spending by Congress. This is a non-partisan effort. You have finally woken the silent majority. This isn't about raising money, it is about raising awareness about what our supposed representatives are doing.
