Sign Suggestions

Bring signs with you to the Atlanta Tea Party! Bring several signs so that if your neighbor does not have one, you can share. We want to make sure Washington gets the message that we are fed up with excessive spending, government waste, and high taxes. One way to convey this message is with signs.

You can click here for downloadable signs that you can print and bring with you. These are large signs that you may need to have printed at Kinko's/FedEx, Office Depot, Staples, Office Max, etc.

    productive: "No Public Money for Private Failure"

    not productive: "Obama has a Crisis of Competence"

    Productive messages make people think and question. Non productive comments simply turn people off, causing them to not be receptive, thus accomplishing nothing but further partisan divide.

Why should we follow any leader who is not fully vested in our country? Why should we allow them to govern us and dictate security while legislating away our freedom? As part of the tax changes we should demand that those who legislate tax laws can only do so if they participate fully in their consequence.

Neither republicans, dumocrats, or independants will vote for the "FAIR TAX" in numbers great enough to pass it. That is without some show of force. It is not illegal to boycott the IRS, especially in numbers great enough to make a difference.

We DO NOT believe people that actually HAVE worked in their younger years is wasteful government spending(which is what the protests are about). Personally I believe the more that is given out to the people who either won't hold down a job or refuse to better themselves in any way and think welfare is a way of life instead of temporary assistance(the way it was meant to be) you are taking from our senior citizens. I have seen my hard-working grandparents denied the proper care from medicare but have never seen medicaid deny even unnecessary care.

    To Jon Stewart: Beautiful, ingtelligent language-sarcasim intended. BTW-Your side protested YOU, if you are really a war veteran. I supported and prayed for you. Curious what you thought about Obama's idea of having the war veterans pay for their own injuries sustained in combat and the DHS report listing you and your commrades as potentially capable of terror? I can atleast admire the character of John McCain. Obama not so much. When the income tax started in 1913 the HIGHEST tax bracket was 7% now the middle class pays 25-28% of their income in taxes. Gosh, maybe those were the "good ole' days".

  160. I've read a lot of this stuff but went crosseyed after a while. I agree they are all puppet presidents and the two party system is in place to distract us from the real issue at hand. I was at the tea party in Atlanta and am convinced, now more than ever, that the media is a prostitute to the "government" or elite is a better word. I suppose we can fight this out all we want but in the end, the truth will be known and those of us "conspiracy theorists" will have our vindication. Just like those of us who believe in the Bible.
