Donation Needs

We have added a donation button to the right side of the Atlanta Tea Party website. Here is what we are using our donations for:

  • Large Screen Television (or two): Joel Aaron of Sound Bytes on 920 AM has said that if we can get a large screen television (or two) that the station can probably have Hugh Hewitt and Bill Bennett address the gathering from a recorded video or audio segment. If you are able to either donate money for us to rent the equipment use the donation button on our site. If you have a business that could donate the equipment, please let me know (jennybethm@gmail.com).
  • Banner Sign: We would like to have an Atlanta Tea Party sign printed. If you are able to donate money for us to have a sign made, use the donation button on our site. If you have a business that can donate one please let me know (jennybethm@gmail.com).
  • Prizes: We would like to do prizes for a sign contest, door prizes for signing into the event, and prizes for the person who drove the furthest to attend, and the person who brings the most people with in a caravan, carpool, or bus. If you are able to donate money for us to purchase gift certificates, use the donation button on our site. If you have a business that can donate a gift certificate or prize, please let me know (jennybethm@gmail.com).

Surveys
On the Atlanta Tea Party site there are currently 2 surveys. The first is about whether or not you can attend the Meet and Greet Sign Making Party. The second is which logo you like best as the official logo of the Atlanta Tea Party. Please take a look at each survey and respond.

I attended the first Atlanta Tea Party, but will absolutely not attend any subsequent events sponsored by you.

However, I will actively discourage others from attending due to the partisan hackery. (Republicans have not been concerned with actual limited government since the Reagan years. Can you say "Medicare Part D"? I knew you could.)

I was at the first event, despite the lousy weather and was utterly disgusted, while standing in the pouring rain holding my signs high over my head, to find that Republican jackasses were given a forum at what should have been a non-partisan event.

I deeply resent the organizers for pulling that crap.

Do you not comprehend that approximately 1/3 of U.S. voters are independents? That they have rejected both major parties for damned good and valid reasons?

Apparently not. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are the solution to our woes; they're largely the cause of them.

I fervently hope to live long enough to see both existing major parties in this country go the way of the Tories and Whigs; heaven knows they richly deserve it.

Take your partisan teabags, fold them until they're all corners and shove them; you're part of the problem.

I think that you all should be ashamed of yourselves! To be proud of your ignorance and arrogance is baffling and destructive for our nation. Please stop, in the name of God and our country. Your greed and stupidity brings shame to your religion and the founding principles of this great country.
