Atlanta Tea Party Logo Contest!

The tea party plans are coming right along and we should be updating the website this weekend with more details! Right now, I want to reach out to everyone and ask for those creative ones among us to submit a logo to "brand" the Atlanta Tea Party. We have 8 more tea parties and events planned through November of 2010 and we all would love for Atlanta to have our own logo!

I requested a logo in an earlier post and in several emails I have sent out, but so far I have only received a few logos! Come on y'all! There are many creative people in Atlanta! Can you please help us with this? We would like to get in several more logos to lace on the website and have everyone vote on them! After allowing everyone to vote, we can have t-shirts, hats, bumper stickers, etc. made for our city! We need to get on the ball and get the contest underway!

If you are willing to spend a little creative juice on the Atlanta Tea Party, please submit your ideas to southernbelleblog@gmail.com by Monday, March 16th at midnight. We will continue to add them as we receive them. We should have all that we receive on the website on Tuesday morning for everyone to vote!

These are the logos I have received so far. They are great and we really like them! Please keep them coming to us! Thanks friends for submitting these! Looking forward to seeing more over the next several days!

  1. The logo of the tea cup with the Atlanta skyline and the American flag gets my vote. Sorry I don't have the software to craft some sort of emblem for you.

  3. I think the first one would be best for a "logo" while the one's with tea cups would work great for posters and flyers!

  4. I think logo K shows unity and is well designed. It has my vote!

  5. I'm very angry about what is happening. That's why I love Logo E!

  7. These logos are all well designed - my suggestion would be to put the word "TAX" or "TAX PROTEST" in the logos somewhere. There are surely some folks out there that would think that we will simply be "drinking tea" rather than protesting. Otherwise, I like E, I and N.

  8. ALL too cute. Look at the video from San Antonio at www.the912project.com The logo at the end with the Gadsden flag superimposed over the capital...Now that's a logo and it makes a clear statement

Does anyone design bumper stickers ??

One idea is: " The Facists are coming...the Fascists are coming ! " - Don't tread on our constitution !

  12. Logo C is great but I think to add some color the flag should be the US flag.
I agree with Bob, this is not an actual Tea Party but a protest.

  13. I dunno, Bob - we could dump loose tea in the 'Hooch! But I guess that could clog one of the water purification systems below Hotlanna. Guess we'd have to brew the tea and pour it into the 'Hooch.

Realistically, this IS a tea party - especially if we are dumping out teabags and loose tea on the steps of the State Capitol. The original Tea Party was a protest, too.

  14. Logo M; I love the subtle reminder of the original colonies i.e. the circle of stars

  15. "UNITED WE FALL"... divided one may stand! WE ARE THE 1. Let's stop voting for President and start voting on way of life. States need to choose. Low taxes and a good honest way of life on the "right" side and on the left stands taxes the size of obama's ego, low penalties on crime, illegal immigration, welfare, nanny state oppression, legalized drugs, weakened military, UN rule of law and harvard pompous asses who wouldn't know the real world until it jumped up and fought against them!!!!!!!!!

  16. I love Logo B, but I thought of adding a graphic above it, of the Declaration of Independence either as watermark or in sepia tone.
