Y'all Rock! Tea Party Success!

The tea party was an amazing success today! It was absolutely unbelievable the number of people that turned out in the horrible weather to have their voices heard! I am still overwhelmed! We all did a great job!

If you were not able to join us today, no worry! This was only the first of many events to come! We will have our voices heard! This is our country too! We are mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore! It is time for us to band together and stand up for what we believe in people! Today was a great first step!

If you missed it, Greta's lead story on the Fox News Channel tonight was "Breaking" news of the tea parties across the country! Our very own Jenny Beth Martin and Debbie Ellis were featured in interviews in the piece! Woohoo! Way to go girls! Y'all are both stars!

I hope everyone is all dried out and warm by now! I am dry, but cannot get warm! However, my soul is warm from thoughts of today! What a day!

Y'all rock! Thanks you for being part of this special day! Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below! If you have any pictures or videos to share, you can leave the links below or email atlantateaparty@gmail.com!

Rest well Patriots! We have a long fight ahead! Remember, we can do this!

    Hi, SB -

It was quite nice to see that so many enthusiastic folks turned-out despite the weather. (I haven't gotten that rain-soaked since I repped for a commercial roofer when I lived in Los Angeles.)

However, I was exceedingly disheartened that someone saw fit to grant face-time to several elected officials, since I agree with Ronald Reagan's thoughts that government is the problem rather than the solution.

Further, not one of those officials spoke even token words about reducing the size and scope of state government; they just wanted to display some disingenuous solidarity with the proles in an unsubtle attempt to garner a few votes.

And that was clearly fine with the organizers, which sincerely pisses me off.

I believe the only role politicians ought to play in this issue is to have the holy hell scared out of them until they do begin to slash the size and scope of government.

Or get thrown out of office on their corrupt, self-serving bottoms and become completely irrelevant to the political process.

  2. It has been such a pleasure to work with you on this event. You can really be proud of the hard work that you put into the effort. It paid off in spades. We would not have been on Greta, if you had not worked so hard behind the scenes not just in Atlanta but nationwide.

  4. The tea party was awesome! I had a really good time. There were all kinds of people there, men and women of all races sick of the government telling us what is good for us! I would do it again!
